College VoxBox Review

Hey!
I am so excited for this blogpost today, I am going to review the items I was sent from influenster.com. These items were sent to me for review, I did not pay for them, but that does not change my opinions on any of these products.

Here's the video I made if you want to see any of this stuff in "real life"!

THE REVIEWS:
Pentel Energelx Pen in Purple
From the company:
"EnerGel-X is the latest addition to the EnerGel family of Liquid Gel Pens. The high-performance ink technology combines the best qualities of liquid and gel ink for a super-smooth writing experience. The Gel ink dries so fast even left-handed writers love it - no smears, no smudges and no globs. The barrel provides maximum comfort and control with a latex-free grip. Constructed from 84% recycled plastic, EnerGel-X is part of the Pentel Recycology line dedicated to reducing landfill waste and protecting the environment."
From me:
If you're a lefty let me tell you; you need this pen! It writes amazingly smooth and pretty without getting so much ink out that it gets on your hand. It is not like those ballpoint pens that goo out sticky blobs of ink either, it glides smooth almost like a gel pen- but way better! The color is extremely vibrant it looks like a marker almost- without bleeding through your paper.

Tropical Necco Wafers:
From the company:

"Necco has introduced a new delicious candy item to be hitting store shelves soon! A tropical version of the famous Necco Wafer will feature such exotic favors as Coconut, Passion Fruit, Strawberry, Lime, Banana and Mango.
The crunchy, sugary wafers will be sure to take your mouth to exotic places while you indulge on the many tropical tastes. This will be one of the first times Necco Tropical Wafers will be consumed by candy fans! Enjoy"
From me:
I just don't like this candy. I think that the flavors are really cool though and smell awesome! So tropical! But if you like original necco wafers than you'll probably like these even more because of the new flavors.

NYC New York Color Showtime litter eyeliner:
From the company:
"Missing the spark? Get it out there with New York Color's Show Time Glitter Eyeliner Pencils! Play it soft by painting on precise, crystalline lines or vamp it up with bold jewel-encrusted designs. These incredibly daring liners are loaded with sparkling micro-glitter to bring impact to any eye look!"
From me:
I love this eyeliner, it's so smooth and easy to work with. I think the amount of glitter is perfect and the way it blends out makes it easy to use for a smudgy look. The black is really dark and is comparable to my Urban Decay liner in zero, except this one also has glitter! Click HERE to see the eyeliner in action in my 5 simple eyeliner looks video!

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

Hey There,
Today I am writing a quirky review on these really cool products I received from influenster.com!
I want to mention before I start that this product did not work out for me personally  (I'll explain) but I am definitely buying a set for my cousin because I think they are great!

Application process: These fake are the easiest things ever to apply! You just peel off a little plastic thing and press it on your nail; no glue, no drying time! I had to press some of them a little harder than others if they weren't lining up to the curve of my nail. I love that there are SO many of the nails in one set. There's more than enough for two applications so you can wear them for a really long time simply replacing a few here and there!

The look: I LOVED the shape of these, very classic and not extra long and ridiculous at all. I used the leopard print pattern and I think it looks really cool personally.

Wear: I'm just going to say it right off the bat, these did not last me a week. Some lasted through two showers and two sleeps but many did not. I'm not going to lie though, if it was getting loose I peeled it off. I didn't just let a floppy nail stay on my nail because I don't think that counts as it lasting.

Removal: The ones that do stay on your nails long enough that you want to purposefully remove them, its not hard at all. I recommend washing your hands with hot/warm water and soap to loosen them but but you don't even need to do that. Also, they don't damage your nails at all upon removal like regular acrylics.

Cons: I just have to say, I probably won't wear these again because my nails are just too big for them! None of them fit on my thumb nail and I used all "thumb nail" ones for the rest of my fingers pretty much. I think these are better for tweens say 10-14 or any adult who doesn't have big nails. This isn't really their fault because my nail beds are just really big, but I can't honestly say I will repurchase for myself.

Where to buy: These are at drugstores like CVS, Rite Aid, Duane Reade, Kmart, Walgreens, Walmart etc. They're only $5.99 for plain colors and $7.99 for patterns which is a great price for two applications!

Nail Tutorial Video: City Skyline

Howdy,
I don't know why but somehow when I type I tend to sound like a cowboy half the time.. I dunno y'all!
Anyhoo- I did these adorable City Skyline at Night nails and I put together a video tutorial for it so I hope you check it out! I have used the Sally Girl 94 cent polish in IQ as the base color and then just a toothpick and skewer with black silver and yellow paints for the designs.

NYC Glitter Eyeliner- 5 Eyeliner Looks

Hey guys,
I made this little video showing my five favorite ways to wear this glittery eyeliner. I worked really hard to do this on my canon camera that doesn't have a viewfinder! Haha that's why there are some times when it's totally out of focus-it also doesn't auto-focus
I got this eyeliner from Influenster to try by the way, so I'll just write a quicky review for y'all :)

I'll just cut to the chase; this eyeliner is awesome! It is really bendable and you can even sheer it out like I did in one of the looks, which really displays its creaminess. I can go many uses without needing to sharpen it because it is so pigmented and I really don't have to press hard to get a good pigmented line.  The price is VERY cheap for these liners and you can get them at drugstores that carry New York Color products. I am not sure if they have more colors but I am definitly going to pick them up if they do.

Just a side note, I have tried their other eyeliners and some of them are really hard and not pigmented so I am just going to clarify; I really recommend the Showtime Glitter Eyeliner in Black- I can't vouch for the other ones yet but if I get more I'll review & swatch them too!
